Help My Sister’s Children Survive War & Grief in Gaza
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,
My name is Yousef Abu mashayekh , my heart is torn: my sister, her husband, and their four young children—Yazan (11), Mira (10), Yazid (6), and Zain (4)—are still trapped in Gaza after more than 650 days of war, displacement, and famine.
These children have already lost many uncles, aunts, and other relatives to the bombings. Their home is gone, food is scarce, clean water is almost impossible to find, and medical care is out of reach. Months of malnutrition have left their little bodies weak, and constant air-raid sirens and explosions have scarred them emotionally. They live every day in fear, wondering if help will come in time.
Why I am asking for your help
I have launched this GoFundMe to send life-saving aid directly to my sister’s family. Every donation, no matter how small, will be used for:
• Basic food staples (flour, rice, canned goods, baby formula)
• Clean drinking water and safe storage containers
• Urgently needed medicines and first-aid supplies
• Hygiene items, warm clothes, and blankets
• Modest rent and fuel costs as they move from shelter to shelter
• GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9 % + $0.30 per donation)
I will personally collect the funds and transfer them straight to my sister, using the safest available channels, so she can buy what the children need to stay alive and regain a measure of dignity.
How you can help
1. Donate—even $5 can feed a child for a day.
2. Share this campaign widely with friends, colleagues, and on social media.
3. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Your generosity can mean the difference between hunger and hope, sickness and healing, despair and survival.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you for standing with my sister’s family in their darkest hour.
With gratitude,
Yousef Samih
