Hello Friends and Family.
About 10 years ago I was lucky enough to meet Nelson Keiwua while traveling with my family in Kenya. Nelson was our guide at an amazing reserve in Kenya. Nelson and I have remained friends ever since. In 2020 during Covid, nobody could work and the entire village was hit upon hard times. I was lucky enough to be able to run a go fund me campaign that was really able to help those kids make it through a tough year.
This year is better but I still need help. We are going to try to raise $1000 in a campaign. They have a need to help out about 260 kids.
Heres a message from Nelson :
My name are Nelson Keiwua.
The aim of this program is to make sure that learning is given the highest progressive.
Education to me is power and that's why I am always on the prerogative of giving the kid in my village education in their own life. The school is located along Ololulunga via melelo, but faces a number of challenges. I aim to give them both books, pens, pencils and sanitary pads. Most of the girls feel sad when they reach adulthood. This makes me feel like something needs to be done to solve this, and to make sure that everyone remains in school and continues their education. I feel that education is power and knowledge. I am hoping that this platform would help me to share my hopes with you all.
