Help 200 Lowcountry Athletes Attend Citadel vs SCSU Game
Donation protected
With your help, we are taking 200 Lowcountry student athletes to the Citadel’s home opener against South Carolina State University! The Citadel’s head coach, Maurice Drayton, is a former Lowcountry athlete.
Last year, we were able to provide tickets and T-shirts to 150 student athletes from 3 Lowcountry varsity football teams. Cross High School won the Spirit Award and Berkeley High School had the most attendees. One athlete said, “He has always wanted to attend a college game and this was the best experience.”
This year, we would like to expand the attendance and overall experience by increasing to 4 Lowcountry varsity football teams We would also like to provide an enhanced tailgate experience for the student athletes by providing food, games, and hosting a PS5 Madden Football Tournament.
Kickoff is at 12:00 pm on September 7, 2024. It is very important that our athletes have this type of exposure, the opportunity to bond and a chance to enjoy some good football. These memories with their teammates will be unforgettable and can impact the trajectory of their lives!
Let’s, as Head Coach Maurice Drayton says, “Lift as we climb” and get these athletes in the stand to cheer on one of their own. Coach values and appreciates the support of his entire community. The game ticket ranges from $25 to $32 and we have until August 10th to reach our goal of $10000.00. Please give what you can so our youth can end this summer with a bang!
