A COMMUNITY APPEAL FOR ELLIE & ALFIE

Hi everyone my name is tracy I never imagined we would be writing something like this.

Ellie is just 5 years old. Her little brother Alfie is only 3. Two years ago, their world was turned upside down when they lost their dad to cancer. He fought bravely, but cancer took him far too soon, leaving Louise to raise their two beautiful children on her own.

Louise was an incredible mum. She lived for Ellie and Alfie and did everything she could to give them love, stability and happiness after such a devastating loss.

Tragically, just before Christmas, our family has been hit by another unimaginable heartbreak. Louise passed away suddenly after an unexpected heart attack. There was no warning. No time to prepare. Just shock, pain and two very young children left without their parents.

Ellie and Alfie are too young to understand why mummy isn’t coming home. They don’t understand why their lives have changed again. All they know is that they’re hurting.

As a family, we are now doing everything we can to support them, but the emotional and financial strain is overwhelming. We have set up a GoFundMe to help cover Louise’s funeral costs and to put something aside for Ellie and Alfie’s future – for their education, their wellbeing, and the life their parents would have wanted for them.

Asking for help doesn’t come easily, but we simply can’t do this alone. With Christmas so close, we are reaching out to the Stoke-on-Trent community for support, kindness and compassion.
