Help 10-Year-Old Major Rebuild His Life After Tragic Illness
Our family is facing a heartbreak we never could have imagined.
Major, my sweet 10-year-old nephew, was a healthy, active kid — until everything changed in just a few hours. He went into toxic shock after a sudden and aggressive bloodstream infection. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and within hours, he was fighting for his life.
Doctors and nurses fought to save him for weeks with every life-saving measure available. Their efforts kept him with us — but at a heavy cost. To save his life, both of Major’s legs and one of his hands had to be amputated.
Major is an incredible kid. He loves playing soccer and baseball, and he’s always happiest when he’s outside, especially when he’s fishing. His smile lights up every room — and even now, after everything, he’s still smiling.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Ongoing medical expenses
Intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation
♿ Adaptive tools and equipment (wheelchair, prosthetics, home modifications)
❤️ Emotional and psychological support for Major and his family
No child should have to endure what Major has — and no family should have to do it alone. Every donation, no matter the size, helps give Major the chance to heal, grow, and adapt to his new life. If you can’t give, please consider sharing his story.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with Major.
