Ten immigrant families located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, MN, are facing an unprecedented crisis due to the ICE occupation in MN. For over a month, many immigrant owned and run businesses have been shuttered, workers have been unable to safely leave their homes to go to work, and the loss of income from this unfolding crisis has created immense financial uncertainty.

Families are struggling to afford their basic necessities; food, utilities, rent, etc. Without immediate, low-barrier mutual aid, many are and will soon be facing eviction, utility shut-offs, resulting in homelessness for many.

Our goal is to provide straighr forward, urgent, low barrier, access to rental assistance funding, so that individuals and families can pay their March rent, their utilities and ultimately, remain in their homes-For many, their home, is the only place they have to feel any sense of safety right now.

Donated funds will go directly to the landlords of the 10 families in participating. With individuals and families that are experiencing the most urgent needs—eviction notices, eviction hearings, utility shut-offs receiving your support first.

Updates will be provided as needs evolve and are met. Your kindness and generosity will provide immediate direct support to a family in need.
