Save Our Childhood and Our Cat — Give Hope to Our Family in Gaza
My name is Sondos, and I currently live in Gaza, Palestine.
The ongoing humanitarian crisis has completely destroyed my family — we have lost everything: our home, our jobs, and our access to food, clean water, and shelter.
We live under constant threat even after the war — the fear of famine and death still haunts us every day.
I am trying to survive with anemia, while caring for my children, my injured husband, and our sick cat.
My children — Farah (8 years old), Hala (6 years old), and Khalil (3 years old) — are all struggling with health problems.
Hala suffers from severe chronic infections that cause her to wet herself.
I am also pregnant, suffering from vitamin deficiency and anemia, and our cat Lulu is malnourished — we rescued her from under the rubble.
Every day, survival becomes harder and harder.
My husband cannot work due to a leg injury, and I am unable to support our children alone.
We live in unsafe and unhygienic conditions, without proper access to medical care.
Medicines are extremely expensive, and every day is a struggle for food, warmth, and safety.
We are in urgent need of:
A tent or rent for a small home
Warm clothes and blankets
Food for our children and our cat Lulu
School fees for our children
University fees for me (I study Business Administration at Al-Aqsa University)
Basic kitchen supplies
Medical care for me, my husband, my children, and our cat Lulu
We estimate that we need $10,000 USD to survive and rebuild a dignified life for our family and our cat.
