Mir sinn amgaang mat verschiddenen Associatiounen ze kucken, wéi a bei wiem mir d’Matrassen kënnen ofginn, fir sécherzestellen, dass se op déi richteg Plazen kommen.

De Plang ass aktuell, dass d’Matrassen mat engem Container op d’Kapverdesch Inselen geschéckt ginn. D’Verdeelung soll direkt vun de Leit vun der Associatioun op der Plaz gemaach ginn, fir eng gerecht an transparent Verdeelung ze garantéieren.

Den Container géif an 1–2 Méint ukommen – wat perfekt ass fir dës Aktioun, well bis dohinner hoffentlech vill Haiser gebotzt an erëm bewunnbar sinn.

Help for Cape Verde – Together for New Mattresses After the Disaster!

After the devastating catastrophe on the Cape Verde Islands, many families are left with nothing. Especially affected: children, elderly people, and families who now have to live without a safe and clean bed.

We are collecting donations for new mattresses (approx. €49 each) to give people on site a piece of comfort and security back. Every donation – no matter how big or small – helps restore restful sleep and a sense of normality.

Info about the campaign:

We are currently working with various associations to determine how and to whom we can distribute the mattresses, to ensure they reach the right places.

The current plan is to send the mattresses in a container to the Cape Verde Islands. Distribution will be handled directly by the association’s team on site, to ensure fair and transparent delivery.

The container is expected to arrive in 1–2 months – which is perfect timing for this campaign, as by then many homes will hopefully be cleaned and ready to be lived in again.
