I’m doing this gofundme for Helinson Hernandez my 19 year old son and I’m his mom, We need help to raise money for his funeral. He died Saturday, June 29th. We were at the river behind the Racc in Reading Pennsylvania, We were there with family trying to have a good time together and when we got there we asked him multiple times if he was going to go in the river and each time he said no. He had a group of friends that were there and throwing themselves off the bridge, he went up to talk to his friends and then he came back down he sat down and stayed there for about 10 minutes then he got up and took off his long pants he left his phone and his hat. He told my husband that he would be right back and that was the last time we saw or heard of him. He ended up going to the other part of the river took off his crocs and his shirt, he got in the water and maybe 5 minutes later he heard someone went in the water and didn’t come back up. Multiple people went in the water to try and save the person not knowing that it was my son we were worried because we hadn’t heard of him. We found his things over there and we got even more worried, we asked the people who saw him when he went in to describe him that’s when we realized it was possibly Helinson we weren’t fully sure we were assist was. Eventually 1 hour and 30 minutes later they finally found him in the water and took him. We had to identify if it was him and it was. That was the most heartbreaking moment of my life, We can’t see him until we find a funeral home because of the circumstances. So please if you can really help us raise money for him it was really be appreciated
