Heidi is a 6 year old little girl who is full of love, life and energy thanks to Alderhey children's hospital and their specialist cardiac unit. Heidi was born with a congenital heart defect and Alderhey gave her a chance at a full and healthy life after she had open heart surgery to correct the condition 2 years ago. She is going to run the Bolton Iron kids and hope to raise some pennies for the unit that saves so many little heart warriors as a small thank you for the huge gift they gave her and us as a family.
