We are William, Annabelle and Charlotte Hede. We are going to Africa this summer to volunteer in an orphanage. We are raising money before we leave so we can help support the orphanage.

$1300 per child covers their housing, food and education for an entire year. These children live at the orphanage full time. Our goal is to sponsor three orphans.

We would also like to buy 3 water tanks so during the rainy season they can capture the water to have drinking water. If you see the tower in the photograph, they have 2 water tanks right now and they run out of water during the dry season. The tanks are $500 each.

Our goal is to raise $1,800 each so that we can each sponsor 1 orphan ($1300) and buy 1 water tank ($500). Our family goal is $5,400.

Please consider helping us make this happen and when we are there we will send photographs and keep you updated with our progress.

For the next 2 months we will be raising money also by cleaning golf carts, running a snack and lemonade stand and additional chores around the farm.

I (William) started doing paint work on the weekend to add to the campaign.
