To know Hope was to love her! Her inspiration quickly became widespread amongst friends and family... and friends of friends... and friends of those friends. Before you knew it we all found a little more Hope in our lives inspiring us to be better. Fight for more, and strive to be better. One thing is for sure, her spirit lives on in us all. We are forever changed and bound to bring new meaning to our lives seeing how bravely Hope fought her battles with love and determination.
As Hope's aunt I've been present from the first minute to the very last. Not to mention the first infamous laugh from patty cake! My goal is to give people a way to participate in something greater than themselves.
I've heard Tess and John repeatedly talk about their future with Hope. This IS their future with Hope. This fund is to keep the spirit of Hope alive. John and Tess will use donations after Hope's Celebration of Life Services for things like physical memorials, outreach at Children's Hospital and/or Life Center (Ohio Organ Transplant) or other ways they can find to share her with others as they have so graciously done all along the way.
I know Tess and John are forever grateful for the outpouring of love that truly made their journey feel like a piece of heaven. They never stopped talking about how amazed they were that the support of those around them persisted. In a city where they felt like a transplant with no roots, they found their roots ran deep and firm.
