Heather, Tyler & Lily

Hi, my name is Terri and I am fundraising for my oldest son Tyler, his wife Heather and their sweet daughter Lily.
As some of you know, my daughter-in-law Heather was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in December of 2018. Medulloblastoma is a cancerous brain tumor that is rare but what is more rare is that it is usually found in young children but Heather was diagnosed a little older at 23. While it is quite treatable in small children, for adults not so much. Since 2019, Heather has had two unsuccessful brain surgeries and bi-monthly chemotherapy treatments and unfortunately received a terminal diagnosis last May but we have recently just found out from her oncologist that she has roughly 1-3 months left with us.
Feeling helpless in a hopeless situation, I am hoping to raise funds to help this little family spend as much time as possible together in the next few months without the added burden of lost wages, medications to keep her comfortable, celebration of life expenses and the many more expenses that this battle has and will cause them.
Heather has fought this battle so hard and for so long. She is so strong and so so courageous and honestly, I can't even begin to describe how well these young people have dealt with this devastating, heartbreaking situation. Tyler has been solely caring for her over the winter but being a landscaper, he has returned to work, which is 12 or more hours a day, so the care situation has changed. Heather's amazing sister Jessica and awesome brother Thomas will now care for her during the day and Tyler will care for her in the evenings and overnight. Tyler, Heather and Lily moved back home with us last fall so we have been fortunate to have them so close so that we could also help with whatever they need.
There will come a time in the near future where Heather is likely to be hospitalized and it would be wonderful if Tyler could be by her side, together with the beautiful Miss Lily and not have to worry about missing work and expenses so much as their focus should be on each other as much as possible over the next few months.
We want to thank you for any support and help that you could provide to them during this difficult time.
