A small rented space in East Uganda, Africa (Mityana District) provides a haven for 13 orphans by a young man named Enock. Enock founded Greatful Children's Orphanage (GCO) in 2017. Enock is exceeding capacity due to the size of the space. He is unable to provide for more children as the space is crowded BUT full of love and laughter.

Enock and Heather (Abby) met through social media and there was an instant connection. Enock loves children and felt driven to a life helping homeless children. Heather has always had a passion for helping those in desperate need and felt compelled to join Enock's mission. Actually, Heather felt God's presence and knew God was calling her to help the children in Uganda.

Enock provides for the children through donations and when donations are scarce certain needs for the children are impossible to achieve. Enock has displayed an elevated level of transparency. Enock provides updates consistently and has proved the utilization of funds. Enock has a commendable passion for helping children and others within his community who are desperately struggling.

Enock has a dream of someday owning a piece of land to create a sustainable and nurturing environment that goes beyond just providing food and shelter. Enock envisions lush gardens, playgrounds, and educational spaces where children can thrive and heal. Enock dreams to cultivate organic gardens, teach children about sustainable farming practices, and instilling a love for nature. Creating a community that not only supports the children's basic needs but also fosters their emotional, intellectual, and physical development is the core foundation for Greatful Children's Orphanage.

We must give Glory to God and thanks to family and friends for their contributions thus far. As a result, the dream of a poultry farm has become reality and the children have been provided the opportunity to attend school with required supplies.

There will continuously be a demand to replenish consumable needs and help maintain the orphanage. The next goal is to purchase land in Mityana District for a future home allowing Greatful Children's Orphanage to transform the lives of more orphans so they may have a chance at an incredible future. God has the perfect plan!

Enock works hard and does his best to provide for the children although donations are scarce. Enock has dedicated his life to serving God and is on a mission to bring hope and healing to the needy through the love of Christ.
