Support the Santee Alley Vendors
– Help Save Our Local Latino-Owned Businesses Downtown LA Fashion District | Santee Alley For the past few months especially after the events of June 6th, 2025 small businesses in the Fashion District and Santee Alley have been suffering more than ever. Sales have dropped by as much as 80%, and many vendors are now days or weeks away from permanently closing their doors. These are not big corporations. These are immigrant-owned, family-run businesses people who have worked tirelessly for years to build something from the ground up. Many of them have no safety net, no insurance, and no access to government support. They are surviving on what little they make, just trying to provide for their families. And now, they need our help.
—Why We’re Raising Funds We are raising funds to provide direct emergency financial support to vendors in the Fashion District and Santee Alley, especially those most at risk of losing their businesses.
Here’s what your donation can help us do:
✅ Cover rent or past due balances for vendors who are behind due to recent economic hardship
✅ Purchase inventory directly from struggling vendors, giving them immediate cash flow
✅ Donate purchased items (like clothing, shoes, accessories, and supplies) to underserved families and shelters in LA
✅ Organize local events and donation drives to bring foot traffic and visibility back to the area
✅ Preserve this vital cultural space, which represents generations of Latino, immigrant, and working-class resilience in Los Angeles
-How You Can Help ?
Whether you can give $1, $10, $50, or even $100, every single donation makes a difference. If 1,000 people donated just $10, we could immediately help dozens of vendors stay open and support their families. Even if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. One repost, one video, one share can reach someone who can help.
—This Is Bigger Than Business The Santee Alley is more than a shopping destination it’s a cultural landmark, a lifeline for thousands of families, and a rare space in LA where Latino and immigrant entrepreneurs can thrive on their own terms. If we lose these vendors, we lose a part of our identity a space built by the people, for the people. Help us fight for them. Help us keep the Santee Alley alive.
