Since last year's Hearts for Burma fundraiser, urgent aid is still much needed in communities within Burma. The humanitarian situation inside Burma has deteriorated further since February 2021 as a result of increased conflict within the country and its political upheaval. According to UN sources, millions are displaced internally. Ongoing conflict and displacement have left communities in critical need of humanitarian support.

This fundraiser has been initiated by a member of the Burmese community in Australia who has close ties with people on the ground in Burma. This fundraiser is built on the love, support and contributions by friends, family, and those from the wider community.

All proceeds will be directed to trusted grassroots groups working directly in affected areas.

We will share a full list of the groups and organisations supported once donations have been collected and allocated.
