Hi, my name is Kaitlyn. I’m a Vietnamese American–Finnish high school senior and the founder of Heartbeats of Hope, a youth-led project supporting children facing medical challenges both locally and globally.

Through our partnership with Heartbeat Vietnam, we help fund lifesaving heart surgeries and medical care for children whose families cannot afford treatment. This mission is personal to me — my grandma and uncle both struggled with heart conditions, and their experiences inspired me to help kids fighting similar battles.

Here in the U.S., I also create and deliver Little Heart Care Kits to children in hospitals. These kits are filled with comforting, creative items that bring joy, distraction, and hope during long hospital stays.
