Hi, my name is Kaitlyn. I’m a Vietnamese American-Finnish and a senior in high school. I founded Heartbeats of Hope, a nonprofit I started to make a difference for children in need.
Our mission is to raise funds that provide lifesaving heart surgeries for children in Vietnam through our partnership with Heartbeat Vietnam. Many families there cannot afford the medical care their children desperately need, and without help, these kids face life-threatening challenges.
This cause is deeply personal to me. Both my grandma and my uncle have struggled with cardiovascular problems, and seeing how much care and support they needed inspired me to make a change for children facing similar challenges. I want to give kids with cardiovascular problems the chance to grow up healthy, to laugh, to play, and to dream.
Donations go directly toward surgeries, medical care, travel funds for families, education, and more — ensuring that children not only survive but thrive.
I may be young, but I believe that compassion and community can change lives. Heartbeats of Hope was born out of the desire to turn kindness into action and show these children that they are not forgotten.
✨ Please consider supporting Heartbeats of Hope. Your generosity will help save lives and bring hope to families who need it most.
Thank you for believing in this mission and helping me build something that can last far beyond today.
