Hi I’m Ronnie and I want to help my sister and her husband Jeff. Their positive outlook on life even in the worst times is amazing. Jeff recently had a heart attack, and as we all know work and bills don’t care if you’re hit by an emergency. They run a small delivery service as well as safe rides for their community and they need help. They are one of the most giving couples even when they are struggling themselves. Here is just an update about what’s currently happening.

Hey everyone, first we both want to thank you all for your kind words and support. I've read every comment to Jeff and he loved them all.

So many of you have messaged me for updates, and I apologize for either taking so long to reply, or not replying yet, it's been hectic.

I'll post an update here for you all.

When they gave him a clot buster in Lethbridge, it irritated a tumor in his bladder that we were unaware of, and it started bleeding.

They stabilized his heart, but due to the loss of blood and his already weakened condition, he had another heart attack yesterday. They took him to surgery and put 2 stents in, which went well, so that's less of a worry and now they are focusing on his bladder.

They put a central line in for transfusions because his veins have collapsed but they are still trying to stop the bleeding, and said if it does he can come home but will need to come back in 4-6 weeks to have the tumor removed. They want to give his body a chance to heal before the surgery, but if the bleeding doesn't stop, they'll have to operate sooner.

Once we get home, he won't be able to drive for awhile, so it will just be me for deliveries but I will try to find someone to help with safe rides. I can't promise though. I can do in town ones however, because I can just walk back to my car.

I will probably be coming home tomorrow because we can't afford to have me stay here, although I would much rather stay in Calgary to be with him, but as we all know, bills don't care what life throws at you.

When he does come home, I'll be taking care of him while working but I'm determined and know I can do it.
