Our nieces and nephews are visiting us for about a week in mid-June. They lost their mama, Marlana, in late March in a freak accident involving a house fire and power-lines. A truly tragic situation.
We are all devastated to say the least, but we’re trying to help our brother plan this cross country RV road-trip from IL to CA and looping back around to AR to visit their grandparents. It will be a healing journey.
Our brother, Dustin McFarland, is a 100% disabled veteran and Marly was an Army veteran as well. Our family is still processing everything that happened, but this is the one thing the kids have to look forward to right now and we want it to be a special time.
Our goal is to help fund this trip and the stops along the way. They are planning on stopping at a few national parks and then spending some time in CA with us. Anything helps!
