Healing Hearts: Supporting Liz and Family After Their Loss

My name is Marivel, and I'm reaching out on behalf of a dear colleague, Liz, who is facing an unimaginable loss. Liz and her family recently experienced the heartbreaking passing of their precious baby girl, Yaretzi, who bravely fought her battle until June 30, 2024, when she found peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Yaretzi brought immeasurable joy to Liz, her father, and her siblings during her time with them. Despite spending much of her 9.5 months in the NICU/PICU, Yaretzi finally came home to her family, where she was surrounded by their love, comfort, and familiar sounds.

Though Yaretzi's time was tragically short, she was profoundly loved and cherished every moment. Now, Liz needs our support more than ever. Throughout these challenging 9.5 months, Liz continued to show up to work, ensuring her family's needs were met despite their circumstances.
