Healing Garden Revamp

Help us commission 8 new murals for the Healing Garden 2023 Art Series!

Since its opening in 2020, the Healing Garden has grown into an essential community hub. A beautiful space for gatherings, arts events and outdoor dining, the garden has become a keystone of West End life.

The Healing Garden is lovingly managed and maintained by the West Alameda Business Association, but after almost 3 years of regular use, the space needs a revamp. We will be retiring some of the current murals and moving others to make space for 8 new commissions. Our theme for 2023 is: "Difference is the essence of humanity" (John Hume).

We are hugely grateful to the Hawthorne Suites and West Alameda Business Association for their contributions to the project. We need a final $2000 to cover the artist stipends ($500 per artist) and the costs of materials and installation.
