Healing and Honoring Sarah June Niyimbona's Memory
Spende geschützt
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Sarah. She was a shining light, a bright angel who lit up our lives with her presence. Sarah was intelligent, independent, and outspoken, with a unique perspective on life that was truly magical. Her selflessness and compassion touched the hearts of everyone she met, from family and friends to peers and teachers.
It's tragic that her potential was cut short due to lack of care. An act of negligence led to her passing and were left with so many questions. Over the past year, Sarah bravely fought a long battle with her mental health, spending countless months in and out of hospital facilities, seeking the care and treatment she deserved. It had been almost 3 months without having Sarah home before she passed. It's heartbreaking that the one place that was supposed to keep her safe failed to do so.
Depression is a serious illness that can be deadly. It's not something to be taken lightly or dismissed. We urge everyone to take mental health seriously and be there for those who need support. Reach out to your loved ones and check in on them. we've struggled to support ourselves through this process, and it's been overwhelming.
Due to the stress of medical bills and financial strain, my mom had to step back, and I've taken on more responsibilities to help our family. However, it's not enough, and the sudden loss has left us struggling to cope financially. On top of medical expenses, we're also facing significant lawyer fees as we seek justice and accountability. Any donation you can make will greatly help us cover these costs and allow us to focus on healing during this time.
Thank you for the support. Rest In Peace, our little Junebug.
