Healing Alaska from retinoblastoma
Donation protected
My beautiful baby girl, Alaska, was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of eye cancer, when she was just 9 weeks old. Since that moment, my world with my little has changed so much.. she is 1 in 27,000 to be diagnosed with this kind of cancer and to save her eye and her body we had to start chemotherapy on the 20th of February 2025 being just 12 weeks old.
Alaska is still currently undergoing chemotherapy at Brisbane Children’s Hospital every 3 weeks and will continue to face months of treatment, tests, and follow-ups. Watching my third daughter go through so much at such a young age has been incredibly challenging —but she is strong, and I am determined to stay strong for her and the rest of my family.
I have set up this go fund me account for anyone who would like to donate and support Alaska in this journey to healing and saving her eye. ✨ All funds raised will go directly toward Alaska’s care, including:
Medical expenses and medications not covered by insurance:
• Travel and accommodation costs for hospital visits
• Meals, Ubers / taxis to and from the air ports to get to the Hosptial
• Specialised equipment at home, to keep the home clean, and relatively germinating free, holistic therapies, to help her little body recover from medicines she needs for her chemotherapy treatments. Things such as chiropractic care, kinesiology, homeopathy, flower essences
• Day-to-day support so I can remain by her side and give my best to her.
• extra costs will help me fuel my body with good quality food, water and supplements so my breast milk can help heal, nourish and comfort her for as long as possible.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to giving Alaska the best possible chance at a full recovery and taking the weight off my shoulders alone. If you’re not able to donate, I would be so grateful if you could share this page and help spread Alaska’s story.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you for standing with my family during this time. Your kindness and support mean the world to me. The ongoing love and support from my friends, family & community have not gone unnoticed.
I will update photos and add to her story as time goes on
Lot’s of love, Celeste, Amaya, Aria & little sweet Alaska.
