My name is KaTrina. For the past several years, I served as a full-time, unpaid caregiver for my grandmother while also raising my young daughter. That responsibility required my full attention and prevented me from maintaining traditional employment during that time.

 My grandmother has recently passed at the age of 93, and our living situation is now unstable as the home we are in may be entering probate, creating uncertainty about long-term stability and housing. Because I was unpaid during my caregiving years, I do not have the financial cushion needed to secure immediate housing independently. I am also a business owner (Chatty Kathy Coaching and Consulting), but I cannot fully stabilize or operate my business effectively while remaining in an unstable living environment.

 My priority now is to move my daughter and I into safe, stable housing so we can leave this uncertain environment and rebuild stability.
Funds will be used for:

 • First month’s rent and security deposit
 • Moving and relocation costs
 • Basic setup for stable housing
