Head Shaving Fundraiser

After growing my hair for the last seven years and saying 'just one more halloween....' many times it’s finally time to give Ari the chop! (yes I named my pony after Ariana)

My hair is down to my waist so I’ve decided to donate it to Sustainable Salons who collect ponytails and distribute them to charitable organisations and local wig-makers where they can become wigs for those suffering from medically-induced hair-loss conditions.

I thought while I’m at it I might as well raise some money for a good cause too. I would love if you could make a donation to Indigenous Employment Partners, an Aboriginal operated social enterprise with a mission to provide culturally appropriate employment, recruitment and training services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the organisations who employ them.

They have a very important vision to help end the cycle of poverty, hardship and helplessness in Indigenous Australia by building capacity and fostering self-sufficiency through employment.
