Hi, my name is Zasha and I'm doing a charity head shave for The Nelson Trust in Gloucestershire.

The Nelson Trust is a leading charity supporting individuals affected by substance use and multiple unmet needs, such as domestic abuse, trauma and involvement in the justice system across the South West of England and Wales.

Each year, they work with around 5,000 people, offering a trauma-informed, holistic approach to recovery through four residential rehabilitation houses in Stroud, three move on recovery houses for individuals transitioning into independent living, ten women’s centres and three Hub social enterprises.

I shaved my head for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2019 in the memory of my Grandfather who sadly passed away from esophageal cancer.

I want to do it again six years later because in the past few years my family has been personally and deeply affected by Cocaine and alcohol addiction. I want to raise support for people going through this disease and by default their families who are with them throughout their recovery.

I don't have a date to do it yet but it will be in a few weeks and I will update when I do have it.
