Hi, my name is Nazarii Storchovyi. I am a student at United World College of the Atlantic in Wales, and I am originally from Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
Zaporizhzhia is a city that is frequently targeted. For people back home, damaged neighborhoods and destroyed houses are not something seen on the news — they are part of everyday life. These are streets where families used to live, where children used to play, and where people are still trying to hold on to a sense of normality.
Even when lives are saved, homes are often lost. And without homes, it is impossible to truly recover.
On January 11, together with other students from UWC Atlantic, I will shave my head as a symbolic act of solidarity with civilians in Ukraine whose lives have been disrupted by destruction and displacement. My hair will be donated to charity, and this action is meant to raise awareness and support for rebuilding efforts.
Where the funds go
All funds raised through this campaign will be transferred to the official UNITED24 “Rebuild Ukraine” program, which focuses on restoring homes, schools, hospitals, and essential civilian infrastructure so people can return to safe and dignified living conditions.
Due to platform and banking limitations, I am fundraising as an individual. This allows donations to be collected efficiently and then transferred in full to the initiative.
I will publicly share all confirmations, updates, and proof of transfers.
Transparency & Accountability
• All transfers will be documented
• Updates will be shared publicly
• Full transparency will be maintained

Why this matters
Rebuilding is not just about walls and roofs.
It is about restoring safety, stability, and the chance to live normally again.
For cities like Zaporizhzhia, rebuilding means hope.
If you are able to donate or share this fundraiser, it truly makes a difference.
Thank you for your support.
