My amazing little cousin Archie, who’s only 9 years old, has been bravely battling high grade Osteosarcoma cancer which is localised in his shin bone over the past few months. This type of cancer is rare and to save his life, he’s had to have his leg amputated — and through it all, he’s shown more strength and courage than words can describe.
I’ve set up this GoFundMe to help raise money for Archie’s recovery — from specialist equipment and mobility aids to anything else he might need as he continues his treatment and adapts to his new normal.
To kick things off, my first challenge will be a cold-water dip in Loch Lomond after my work’s Christmas night out this December (wish me luck! ). I’d be so grateful for any donations, no matter how small — every bit truly makes a difference.
If you can’t donate, please share this page to help spread the word and show Archie how many people are cheering him on.
This is just the start — I’ll be taking on more challenges throughout the year to keep supporting Archie and remind him that we’re all behind him every step of the way.
