HCPT Pilgrimage to Lourdes Group 141 2025

Hi! My name is Sebastian Krasnodebski and I am travelling to Lourdes as a helper with HCPT Group 141 this Easter of 2025.

HCPT is a charity that organises annual pilgrimages to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes for disadvantaged and disabled children. Our group takes children with a number of different needs and we therefore need two dedicated helpers for each child. This year, it costs £1000 to send a helper, so I would like to ask you for help to ensure all of our children have an opportunity to travel with our group this year.

Over the last three years with HCPT, I have been able to share and support this journey to make it as memorable for the children as possible. The funds raised will go towards the fares of myself and the children and any extra money will go towards supporting our group. Thank you for all of your support.

The Hosanna House and Children's Pilgrimage Trust (HCPT) is a charity that organises trips to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France for disabled and disadvantaged children. Every year HCPT takes 1,500-2,000 children to Lourdes from all across the world, along with 3,000 helpers to help cater for any needs. This ensures any child is given the opportunity to travel that may not have been able to otherwise and make it a special and spiritual occasion for everyone who travels.

I first travelled with Group 141 in 2022, when the HCPT pilgrimage resumed after the Covid outbreak and again in Easter 2023. Both these weeks have been special moments in my life and have helped me to share my joy and faith with the amazing children and helpers that travel each year. I have spent both years getting to know and seeing the remarkable lives of many of the children that travel with us. We spend the pilgrimage playing guitar, exploring the mountainous landscapes and sharing God's love together as a group at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Due to the Covid outbreak, HCPT was unable to travel for 2 years with the first year back taking place in 2022. Not many groups were able to travel during this year however HCPT was able to start regaining its numbers in 2023 and 2024. To help continue supporting the travels of more children we would appreciate as much help and support to make this a possibility carrying onwards into 2025.
