Erika needs our help with Cancer treatments

Edit- Erika is out of surgery and in recovery. Everything went really well. She should be back home at her mom's soon.

She will be doing radiation treatments soon.

I will keep you updated on her progress.

Hi, I'm one of Erika's closest friends. She lives with me, but since being diagnosed with breast cancer, she has been living at her mom's house in WV.

Erika has to drive three hours each way for some of the tests and treatments. She has a long road ahead of her and is currently awaiting further testing to determine what treatment to start first and which medication to use. Currently, we know the cancer has also spread to her lymph nodes. Further tests will determine if it's spread further.

Erika needs her friends to rally around her like she would us. We would like to raise money to help with gas, hotels, unpaid medical bills, and any other out of pocket expenses she is going to have.

Erika is a very proud person and would never ask for help. She has helped many people, including me. Her love of people and animals is so huge. She has the biggest heart, and even on her worst day, she's be there for anyone she cares about.
