Sweet Hazel Charlene is still in the NICU at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. Her medical team has advised that there will be no procedures until at least next week. They are treating her for the fluid on her lungs and focusing on allowing her to learn to bottle feed and allowing her time to grow. It is time to pray big and boldly ask God to close this valve in her heart over the next few days.

It’s never easy to ask for help, but we are doing so with humble hearts so that we have resources available to keep Mikeal and Ashton in a hotel very close to the hospital for the duration of her stay. The Ronald McDonald house is not available to them at this time, and we want them to be able to spend every available minute at her bedside.

So many of you have asked how you can help, and this is the immediate need. For those of you who have the ability to assist financially, we are forever grateful. For those of you who cannot at this time, please continue to send your sweet words of encouragement and prayers. We know that this is what will sustain them on their journey.
