Support Survivors: Help Us Give Back to Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center

Join us in making a difference! We are Empower Her, a dedicated group of Texas State University social work students passionate about supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. We are hosting a donation drive to benefit the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center (HCWC)—a nonprofit that provides shelter, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families escaping abuse in Central Texas.

The center offers many resources such as temporary shelter for up to 18 months, transitional housing, therapy groups, and a Head Start program among many other things. A key element of this support is providing basic necessities such as clothing, diapers, formula, and hygiene items for the women they serve. Help us aid them in this support by donating to this campaign. At the end of the fundraising period, we will use all funds gathered to purchase these necessary items that the center and survivors need.
