Hayling Island Scarecrow Festival 2024 - for HVS

The annual Hayling Island scarecrow festival is raising for the Hayling voluntary service.

scsrecrows are on display all over the island and the winner announced on bank holiday Monday at the olive leaf.

More information about Hayling Voluntary Service: Hayling Voluntary Services work is to combat loneliness and isolation for those elderly residents living on Hayling Island. we provide Medical Transport using a team of volunteer drivers to take over 3000 per year to their hospital and GP appointments . We also have a thriving veterans group providing support , food and banter. We are based in our own Seniors Club, a drop in where we offer food at just above cost price, companionship, education and support to many elderly .
