Holiday Donation Drive for McMaster NICU Families

The first two month's of Hayden's life were spent in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at McMaster Children's Hospital. 

This was, by far, the hardest thing we have ever had to endure as individuals, as parents, and as a family.  The emotional rollercoaster of life in the NICU is not one you would wish upon even your worst enemy.  Terrifying, heartbreaking, exhausting, frustrating and humbling are a few words that come to mind.  No parent should ever have to spend the first days, weeks and months of their newborn’s life in the hospital, but sadly it happens all the time.

The McMaster NICU has 63 beds in the hospital that are ALWAYS full.  Sick babies from all over the region spend days/weeks on a waitlist to get in to one of Canada's most sought after NICU’s.

This holiday, we are collecting donations to support parents and their babies in the NICU at McMaster Children's Hospital.

Our goal is to raise $3000 that will provide for:

Parking/Cafeteria Gift Cards
Family Waiting Room Games/Puzzles/Movies
Extra Phone Chargers/Batteries
NICU Family Journals
Baby Gifts

We are also accepting donations for the NICU as they are always in need for:

Bedding/Blankets
Preemie/Infant Onesies/Clothing
Baby Swings/Chairs
Crib Mobiles/Toys
