Hatherleigh Community Centre - (Charity No. 300851)
Hatherleigh Community Centre is a vital hub within the town - it is home to the preschool, the food bank, social meets for our older residents, many clubs (e.g. Brownies), The Repair Cafe, The Hatherleigh Community Picture House, roller discos, large-scale music events, and much more.
The cost of living crisis has hit everyone hard, including charities, which is why, as a trustee of the charity, I am raffling off a two-night stay in one of my lakeside lodges, complete with private, dog-friendly garden, hot tub, and fishing (for experienced anglers).
All of the proceeds will go directly to Hatherleigh Community Centre to help with overheads, repairs, and general running costs.
How the competition works:
- Tickets are £2.50 each, or five tickets for £10.
- Pledge your amount with the name that you wish to go on the ticket(s).
- Your name will be written on the ticket(s) in the raffle book.
- The draw will be drawn live at our trustees meeting on June 25th and a video posted on both www.facebook.com/vennlakes and www.facebook.com/hatherleighcommunitycentredevon We will also post the winner on the Hatherleigh Community Centre website for those of you who are not on Facebook: www.hatherleighcommunitycentre.co.uk
- Please do not pledge money via any other means than this 'Go Fund Me' page. We will not ask you for a deposit. Nor will we ask you for any personal information - the only exception to this is if we do not know you within the local community, or as a Venn Lakes customer, in which case, we may request to see identification to claim the holiday. The winner can reach out to the relevant page or email: [email redacted] to book their getaway. In the instance that you believe you are the winner, we will only ask for your chosen dates, and (as per above), possibly some form of identification, in which personal information can be hidden, i.e. by covering your date of birth and address on a driver's licence.
