‏My Name is Hassan ..This is My Story

‏I am Hassan, 21 yo from Gaza, Palestine.

‏Before the war, we lived a simple life. We owned a small supermarket it was our only source of income. It allowed us to live with dignity, to provide for each other, and to dream of a better future.

‏But everything changed.

‏Since the war began over 400 days ago, my family and I have been living a nightmare that doesn’t seem to end. The supermarket was destroyed. Our only source of income, gone. Our home the place where we were supposed to feel safe is now half bombed. Walls are shattered, windows broken, and fear fills every corner.

‏We are six people: my mother, my brother Muhammad, my sister, and my younger siblings. Every day we wake up with fear, hunger, and cold. There is no escape, no safety, no peace.

‏My older brother Muhammad is suffering from psychological stress that grows worse with each passing day. He needs urgent treatment, but we cannot afford it. We can barely survive.

‏My sister, a nurse, has dreams of continuing her education to help others but those dreams are on hold. She needs to travel, to learn, to live but we don’t have the means.

‏My mother carries the weight of all our pain. She tries to stay strong, but I see the exhaustion in her eyes. We are all breaking.

‏We need to evacuate Gaza.

‏We need a chance to survive, to heal, to rebuild.

‏We don’t want to die here. We just want to live.

‏Please, if you’re reading this, help us escape this nightmare. Help us find safety.

‏We have nothing left, but we still have hope.
