I am Hasan A. I., and my mother is the beloved Mrs. Raeda.

The life I find myself living now is far from what I envisioned five years ago. We craft our dreams and map out our futures based on our desires and what we deem fitting for ourselves, yet reality often has different plans. I recently graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. I had eagerly awaited my graduation day, the moment I could embark on my professional journey and live the life I had always dreamt of.

After my father's passing, I became the sole provider for my family and held on to these dreams tightly. But then the war came, shattering our dreams and hopes.

The war ravaged our home, reducing it to rubble, leaving us with nothing.

My mother suffered a severe leg injury, requiring a platinum implant. She battles diabetes and desperately needs treatment beyond the confines of the Gaza Strip, along with proper healthcare and the right medications.

The conditions surrounding us are far from what she needs for her recovery. We now live in a tent on the beach, lacking even the most basic necessities of life. Both my mother and I have fallen ill with intestinal and skin diseases.

Life in Gaza has lost its essence. We never imagined enduring such harsh realities, as if we are trapped in a nightmare. I am here against my will, my future's contours blurred and fading. I yearn for a life where dreams can be rebuilt.
