Harvey Victim Home Fund for Michael

My brother, Michael Vayner, has been through so many ups and downs over the past year. No matter how hard life has pushed and pulled him, he has gotten back on feet and moved forward. His reasons are simple: his two brilliant daughters.

Most recently, the month of Aug has proven to be the biggest challenge of all. Just coming off the heals of his company closing, Harvey came after him and so many others with a vengeance. My brother was fortunate enough to have his life preserved, but lost the majority of his belongings in the process...car, apartment and all of his furniture.

Although all of his family is in Chicago, Michael is alone in Houston to be close to his girls, whom primarily live with their mother. Now, my brother has been able to find a new apartment which he will be able to move into later this month. Unfortunately, until he has furniture in his place, particularly a place for the girls to sleep, his girls will not be able to stay over on the weekends. His girls, the two people he lives and breathes for.

This fund is to help my brother refurnish his home's most basic nessecities and hopefully have something left over to put towards a new mode transportation. I truly hope that we are able to help him make a new home for him and his girls.
