In April Im going to Everest base camp. The trek starts at 2,846M and by the time we get to base camp it will be an elevation of 5,364 (4 times higher than Ben Nevis - the highest mountain in the British isles)

As part of that I would like to raise some money for charity. The Harvey McWilliams FOundation is one.

Harvey took his life due to circumstances beyond his control in Dec 2021. Wanting to take something positive out of Harveys passing, Luke (his brother) wanted to carry on Harveys ethos - football is for all, not just those who can afford it. Indeed Harvey used to give his old boots and strips away and the charity continues that philosophy with the gathering and distribution of football equipment, boots, gloves etc.

Specifically the charity supports families and players who are struggling to replace or buy equipment to take part in sport. Playing sport doesn't just help with physical health but also mental health too. This foundation works with local charities to support this aspect too,
