Raising funds to have Harvard Community affinity group graduation celebrations and order cords. This fundraiser is primarily for students with disabilites.

This week, we learned that Harvard will no longer fund or support affinity celebrations, in response to demands from a "Dear Colleague" Letter sent by the US Department of Education.

Make no mistake - affinity celebrations provide joyful spaces during commencement week. They have always been optional and in addition to the main commencement activities, not separate or exclusionary. Affinity celebrations allow students to showcase their identities proudly and having special cords/stoles to represent that means a great honor for students.

Any amount is welcome and all proceeds will go towards the community for celebrating each other and this wonderful achievement. Please share the link with others in your circle, contacts and community to spread the word :)
