"Action is the antidote for despair.” When the HARTFORD VISIBILITY BRIGADE gets out there and starts waving at cars, with a message we believe in, we feel like we're making a difference! Our actions feel like having a mammoth umbrella against the firehose of bad news that is being blasted at us. We don’t waste our time with lots of planning meetings. We spend the majority of our time just getting out there and making a difference - which makes us feel better! And we make new friends!

These funds help with the costs of making the letterboards, which are about $3.50 EACH + posterboard + clear contact paper. We need ALOT of letters for 2 teams, and we need them to be water resistant so the rain won't stop us from getting our messages out! Also banners, flags, bungees, kazoos (to make some noise), anything we need to help get the word out! There may even be a billboard in our future!
