Support for Harry Mooney & family

Hi all.

I’m Sophie Abbatangelo, Harry’s cousin.

I’m reaching out to you with a heart felt plea to support The Mooney family while they are caring for their boy.

On Saturday night, April 13th, Harry and his friends were en route to a party at the Yarrambat golf course when a tragic accident occurred. Harry was struck by a car while walking on the dark & narrow road on Yan Yean, resulting in a brain injury. He is currently in ICU, in an induced coma as they wait to assess the extent of the brain damage and how that will impact the Harry we know and love and the rest of his life.

The length of the wait for a prognosis is unknown and could extend into weeks even months. While Harry's road to recovery will be longer again.

Belinda, Mick, Noah, and Lola are enduring unimaginable anguish and grief compounded by the uncertainty of Harry's prognosis which we can help to lessen. To alleviate some of their financial strain, I've initiated this GoFundMe campaign discreetly. The funds will assist with long-term accommodation near the hospital, reducing the burden of commuting from Wallan, and covering daily living expenses.
