Harris Twins Need Your Help

Dear friends,

I wanted to share some news with you that is both exciting and challenging for our family. My wife Shekelia and I are expecting twin girls – a true blessing and a surprise given her infertility issues. These little ones are our miracle babies, and we couldn’t be happier.

However, we’ve recently encountered unexpected difficulties. Shekelia’s cervix has shortened and thinned significantly, putting her at high risk for preterm labor. She had to undergo a rescue surgery called TAC (Transabdominal Cerclage), and she’s now on strict hospital bedrest until she gives birth. This means the birth will likely happen sooner than we had planned. The medical situation has also imposed a significant financial strain on us.

As a two-income household, Shekelia's inability to return to work as a teacher has created financial challenges for us. We’re reaching out to our community, friends, and loved ones with a humble request for support. We never thought we’d be in a position to ask for help, but circumstances have led us here.
