Harris Family Baby Adoption

…..The Harris family is growing by one sweet baby girl!! Adrien and Jessica have been matched for adoption! This is a dream come true for them, and such a beautiful blessing. Their baby girl will be welcomed into a family with 3 awesome big brothers and so much love!

Although Jess and Adrien have just recently publicly shared their adoption news, this has been a journey of almost 2 years. A journey filled with hope, heartbreak and determination. Despite the highs and lows, they have never given up on giving a baby girl a safe, loving home and family.

One thing most people do not realize, as I certainly did not, is just how expensive private adoption costs. In America the average cost is between $30,000-$50,000. The money is due, in full, within days of the adoption finalizing. This does not include the unpaid maternity leave and the general costs of having a baby.

Jessica and Adrien are two of the most deserving people, as so many of us already know. They give back to our community in so many ways, Jessica being a local hospice social worker for nearly a decade and Adrien volunteering to coach many of the youth sports teams within our community. They stop at nothing to support the people they love. Their home is a safe space where so many friends and family always come together.

I know I speak for so many, the Harris family is a huge blessing to have in our lives.
