Harper’s AVM Brain Treatment

After the moments every parent is terrified of happened to our sister Cassie, she reiterated in a Facebook post: “The ‘2020’ of all Mondays happened to our family today.” Her 8-year old Harper suddenly complained of head pain and within minutes went unresponsive.  An ambulance, an helicopter ride under sedation, and a stint-surgery later, the doctors at Luries discovered she has an abnormal cluster of brain blood vessels from a rare disorder known as Brain AVM. This caused the bleeding on her brain that might have killed her in minutes - God had other plans for this little angel.

Recovery is in the works, but how long this recovery will be we do not know days, weeks, months? We are all trusting Harper to God’s hand and believe that the medical intervention is all part of the plan. We trust the cost will be provided, and are asking you all to be part of the blessing. We’ve seen people come together to help others in times of crisis, and we all need each other more than ever during this season.
