Hi my name is Savannah. I'm the mama of the very fiery, sweet heart warrior named Harper! She has had quite the journey since birth. She was already born with half a heart, otherwise known as Tricuspid Atresia. We learned she would need a series of surgeries to at least get her into adulthood, then more when we cross that bridge. She has come upon a few bumps in the road on top of being due for her Fontan repair. They found that her pulmonary artery could be damaged (possibly from the blood clot) and they may need to leave her chest open post-op, or go back in for yet another surgery in general. She has a ton of collaterals that formed due to the extra pressure in her heart, and more pulmonary avm's than they have ever seen in a single ventricle baby this early. I was told to expect about a couple weeks but that there really isn't any telling how long her stay could be. All any of us know is that it's going to be a rough one.

I am doing this fundraiser to afford hotel rooms, gas, food, and other expenses that will come up over this time. This hospital is really bare bones. There's nowhere for parents to store food or even shower. My anxiety is at an all time high right now in hoping that we can make this work out. Covid has really changed so much and nothing is panning out as hoped. I tried so hard to get her to another hospital, but they are swamped and there's just not enough time.
