My life has been devoted to sharing the transformative power of music through my beloved harp Amadei, around the world. While I have enjoyed the honor of playing for members of the British royal family, prime ministers, and ambassadors in spectacular concert halls like the Rudolphinum in Prague, and on the Selaron Steps in Rio de Janeiro, I am just as happy to share the harp’s grace in any venue.
In 2020, I found a safe way to bring performances to isolated Canadians of all ages while on the Harp to Heart tour HRP2HRT. I purchased a van and amplifier then traveled 6,000 kilometers (accompanied by my cat, Misty) to play for 33 audiences seated in lawn chairs in parks, parking lots, pastures, and other places to relieve stress induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The harp has long been known as the instrument of angels, and I love sharing my passion for it here on Earth. Sound produced by the harp resonates out from the strings in all directions to embrace all listeners. My harp is named Amadei, Latin for ‘beloved of God.' Thanks to the extraordinary support of Cam Clark Ford Airdrie, I now have a new van, "Mary" which is being built out to meet the needs of a second, much longer trip across Canada beginning in April this year.
HRP2HRT is all about connection, creativity and courage, and I am inviting you to be part of it. For this next trip to be financially sustainable, I need more support—support from you— to help with van payments and maintenance, gas, insurance, on-site accommodation, internet connection, harp strings, etc. Every donation makes a difference, and I am grateful for whatever you can do to help me share the beauty and comfort of live harp music.
Thank-you very much in advance for giving your heart to HRP2HRT.
