Haroonabad (Pakistan) - Charity Fund
Donation protected
Salam,
Like many others, Haroonabad, a town in Pakistan, is a place where poverty has a grip on the lives of the people who live there. The poverty in Haroonabad is heart-wrenching and overwhelming. It's a daily struggle for families to put food on the table, find clean water to drink, and access healthcare.
The streets are lined with makeshift homes made of scraps of metal and cloth, and children play in the dirt, their clothes ragged and worn. The desperation and hopelessness in their eyes are palpable, and it's impossible not to feel deeply moved by their circumstances.
A charity was set up to tackle the problems and struggles that the people of Pakistan go through. The Charity (currently based in Haroonabad) provides funding to Orphanages in the town, where children are eligible to go to schools.
Currently, the charity also finances 40 different families across Haroonabad who have very little to their name. The families that find it difficult to put food on the table are backed by the charity and every month we supply food, water and finances to these families.
With your help we aim to grow this charity. The goal is to feed and finance 100 families a month by the end of the year. We will continue to donate to orphanages financing them with all supplies they need and we hope to add schools in the future, where we will finance books, pencils, and even pay school fees for young girls and young boys who are unable to pay for themselves. Inshallah.
The poverty in Haroonabad is a stark reminder of the vast inequalities that exist in our world, and it's impossible not to be filled with sadness and empathy for those who are suffering.
Please Note: This is not a registered charity. (Currently in the process of getting Registered).
