Sumas flooding devastated hardworking family

A very hardworking family I care about has been devastated by the flooding in Sumas, WA over the past few days. The parents and their two children (their special needs daughter aged 19 and their son age 12) had to be evacuated by tractor while huddled in their second story of their flooded home with their beloved kitties. At the time of their evacuation they had over 4 feet of water in their home and their cars were under water. This is the second time in 20 months their home has been damaged due to flooding. They have flood insurance but this only covers the home damage after a deductible. Their furnishings, personal belongings, cars and cost to stay somewhere while their home is uninhabitable are not covered by insurance.

During this holiday season when we give thanks for our blessings, please help this special family in need. This is the time to pay it forward and consider how much each contribution made can help improve the situation for this family. PLEASE show compassion and kindness to help them during their time of urgent need.
